Aspen Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial HVAC experience and the ability to manage projects from contract award through completion while maintaining schedules, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, motivated professional who understands commercial HVAC construction and can effectively coordinate between general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, field technicians, and office personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage commercial HVAC projects from contract award through final completion and closeout.
• Review project plans, specifications, drawings, scopes of work, and contract documents.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, deliveries, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with field supervisors and technicians to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate regularly with general contractors, owners, vendors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and provide project updates as required.
• Monitor project costs, labor, material purchases, change orders, and overall profitability.
• Prepare, review, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation.
• Review HVAC installations for compliance with plans, specifications, applicable codes, and project requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, startup, and project closeout.
• Identify potential project issues early and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
• Track project progress and communicate schedule changes or delays promptly.
• Work with the estimating and service departments to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution.
• Assist with procurement and ensure materials are ordered and delivered in accordance with project schedules.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Review completed work and assist with punch lists and final project turnover.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, GCs, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure company safety policies and project-specific safety requirements are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC project management or commercial HVAC construction experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, installation practices, and construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, specifications, schedules, and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, air distribution, and related mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and cost control.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience with construction/project management software is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driver's license.
