We are looking for a driven recruiting specialist to help attract and place commercial drivers for our transportation team. This role leads the recruitment process from outreach through onboarding, with a strong focus on building talent pipelines and maintaining a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate brings a proactive approach, strong organization, and the ability to support staffing goals in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:
• Identify and engage commercial driver candidates with relevant experience through online sourcing, referrals, social platforms, networking, and other recruiting methods.
• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job advertising, applicant review, interview coordination, offer delivery, and onboarding support.
• Develop and maintain a steady pool of driver talent to meet both immediate openings and anticipated workforce needs.
• Review candidate credentials by confirming licenses, driving history, employment background, and other pre-employment requirements.
• Apply recruiting practices that align with company standards, transportation regulations, and employment compliance requirements.
• Keep candidate information, recruitment progress, and recruiting activity up to date within the applicant tracking system.
• Create and implement recruiting approaches that improve staffing speed, candidate fit, and long-term retention.
• Represent the organization at job fairs, recruiting events, and industry gatherings to promote career opportunities and expand candidate networks.
• Maintain consistent communication with applicants throughout the process to ensure a positive and engaging experience.• At least 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally within transportation, logistics, or another high-volume hiring environment.
• Prior success recruiting commercial drivers, including Class A or Class B talent, is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of driver qualification standards, transportation compliance expectations, and related regulations is an advantage.
• Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities in a deadline-focused setting.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
• High level of organization and strong attention to detail.
