We are looking for a detail-oriented Recruiter I to support hiring efforts in Grand Junction, Colorado. This Long-term Contract position focuses on engaging candidates, conducting initial outreach, and helping move applicants efficiently through the early stages of the hiring process. The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with applicants by phone, coordinating interviews, and maintaining accurate recruiting records in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone-based screening conversations to evaluate interest, availability, and basic qualifications.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between applicants, hiring teams, and other stakeholders to keep the process moving smoothly.
• Review incoming applications and identify prospective candidates whose background aligns with open positions.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date recruiting documentation, candidate notes, and status tracking within internal systems.
• Provide timely follow-up to applicants regarding next steps, interview details, and general hiring process updates.
• Support recruiting operations by assisting with job posting activity, applicant flow management, and administrative tasks related to talent acquisition.• Experience supporting recruiting, staffing, or high-volume administrative processes in an office setting.
• Ability to conduct phone interviews with attention to detail and communicate clearly with candidates and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings, schedules, and follow-up tasks at once.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry, with careful attention to accuracy and detail.
• Comfortable handling sensitive candidate information with discretion.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional recruiting or human resources experience is preferred.
