Step into a dynamic school-based position, delivering high-quality physical therapy services to students across multiple campuses. This full-time contract opportunity begins in November and runs through February, providing essential coverage during an anticipated maternity leave. As an itinerant physical therapist, you’ll support K-12 students, collaborating with educators and families to help each child succeed physically and academically.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Ability to travel between assigned school sites locally
• Strong organizational and communication skills for managing caseloads across a variety of age groups
• Successful completion of required background checks and fingerprinting through the Texas Education Agency (if not completed within another public school district recently)
• Readiness to submit references for your two most recent supervisors to support your application

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for K-12 students
• Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment
• Provide therapy services in accordance with each student’s IEP and district guidelines
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
• Adapt techniques to suit a range of ages, abilities, and needs

This Monday through Friday position offers 37.5 hours per week and the unique chance to impact students’ growth during a critical school interval.
