BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Breast Sonographer (RDMS) for Barnes Center for Advanced Med -CAM Breast Center ( St. Louis, MO )

$5,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible candidates!!!

Position Details:

• Day Shift hours: Mon-Fri
• No Major holidays & possibly 2 Saturdays per year with extra pay if work
• RDMS or equivalent required
• Breast Sonography with x- ray (preferred )
• Mammography and breast ultrasound experience (highly preferred)

If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: Breast Sonographer, Breast Ultrasound Technologist / Technician, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Breast Specialty) , Mammography / Ultrasound Technologist

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
