As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public. You will perform general security duties while upholding DSI and client-specific post instructions and safety standards.
Essential Job Responsibilities - Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
- Observe, report, and respond to safety hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
- Enforce client and DSI policies, procedures, and post instructions
- Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
- Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
- Participate in required training and comply with DSI safety policies and manuals
Qualifications & Requirements - Active Armed ASRB License
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver's license
- Reliable transportation and means of communication
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
- Must pass all required background checks, motor vehicle screening, and drug screening
Certification Requirements - Valid state driver's license
- Valid concealed carry permit
